I have been in the industry for 28+ years all in the Overland Park area. I was very lucky in life that I knew what I wanted to be from the time I was 4 years old. I wanted to be a hairstylist and it never changed. I absolutely love doing hair.

I now have a new passion for building my stylists. I love motivating them, helping them and being a part of their life and career. It’s fun to see my team grow and have fun together. Beyond my passion for hair and my stylists I have learned to be a plumber, painter, IT specialist, cleaner, handy woman, chef, event planner, social media expert, carpenter, marketing director, HR director ….also known as a salon owner. I enjoy working with my team and getting to know all of the customers who walk through our doors.

RECEPTIONIST

I am a mom of five. I have worked in salons for 24 years. I have always enjoyed watching the transformation of clients entering and leaving. When not at the salon I enjoy time with my family, reading a book, or binge-watching a great tv show.

I have always enjoyed anything creative. Working at the desk of Oomph has been a great fit for that. Outside of work I am passionate about my own creativity with drawing and painting. I love animals, and the outdoors. You can often find me hiking with my dog or pet sitting for others.

I am a passionate hairstylist who strives to make people look and feel beautiful inside and out. With 23+ years of experience, it is important to me to truly listen and deliver an amazing customized haircut and fresh beautiful color.

I have been in the industry for 8 years. I started my career as a barber and then extended my education into cosmetology. I have a passion for cutting hair that some stylists shy away from. I love the challenge of curly hair and I have become a “Deva Inspired” hairstylist.

Men’s grooming is second nature to me. Not only classic styles but trendy, up-to-date styles as well. I excel at listening to a client’s wants and needs. This enables me to create a cut, color, and style that not only looks good on you but suits your lifestyle also. If you have thick, long, or curly hair…I am the stylist for you. I have been in the salon industry for over 20 years. My experience spans from fashion, film, editorial, and education. I am a three time nominee for the Hairstylist of the year in the editorial and texture categories for the North American Hairstyling Awards. I am passionate about creativity with upstyles. I enjoy finishing hair and sharing my knowledge with clients so they can recreate the look at home!

Through the 17 years I have been working in the industry I have become passionate for so much more than just hair. I am a Goldwell Artist and educator. I love helping other stylists reach their potential. I also love educating my clients so they can achieve the best results at home . Creating specialized reds and blondes are my favorites, as well as pixies, and short layered styles.

After 12 years in the industry, I have learned so much beyond hair and beauty. I am a mom of 2 girls that keep my husband and I very busy. So I understand that hair needs to be not only beautiful when you leave my chair but functional for you at home.

My one-year intense apprenticeship and ongoing continued education have refined my skills and increased my passion for hair. I love to create a color and cut that is not only beautiful but functional for your lifestyle.

Having been in the business for 32 years and being a curly girl myself, I have completely mastered the understanding that curly hair is different. It’s made different, lays different, and styles different. Because of these differences, it needs to be cut differently and colored differently as well. Curly hair is different each day. I specialize in only curly hair because it is my passion. I want to help you learn how to get your curls to work for you and learn to love your curls!

If you are looking for your hairstyle to change...I am your perfect fit. I love to create new looks for people. I have curly hair myself so I have experience with how crazy it can be. I am Deva cut inspired (educated). Beyond working with curly hair I love doing extension work for both length and volume as well as doing vibrant color. I thrive on being challenged with a new exciting color. It can be as simple as just going a bit lighter, darker, or going pink. I can help you find a style and color that is perfect for you. Everyone has different hair and everyone has a color and style that is perfect for them. I look forward to helping you find what is perfect for you.

I have been a hairstylist for 18 years. I have two young children so I fully appreciate the need to create a style that is low maintenance and functional.

I am passionate about color. My goal is to make people feel and look their best. I enjoy learning new techniques, trends, and furthering my education. I love that every day in the salon is a new experience. Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time with my children and watching movies.

I have loved to cut hair ever since I gave my first Barbie an asymmetrical bob (don’t worry, I have improved since then)! I have been in the industry for 20 years. I enjoy making clients happy and giving them a fresh new look.

I am certified in coloring, extensions, perms, cutting, and all things nails. My skill set enables me to offer a long list of services. I enjoy switching off between hair and nail services. I can apply color, do a manicure or pedicure while your color processes, then trim and style your hair all in one appointment: a great time saver for you! From the time I was a young girl, I wanted to work in a salon. I went to cosmetology school and discovered I had more of a passion for waxing and skincare. I continued in that training and here I am, almost 30 years later, and still doing what I love! I enjoy having one on one time with my guests and learning about them so I can help them feel their best!

I was inspired to do hair at a young age. I have always been into the newest trends and have never been afraid to try something different. I’m experienced in all hair types from unruly curls to fine straight hair. With over 30+ years of playing and continuous education in various cutting and coloring techniques. I enjoy creating the perfect shape and style that works the best for your hair type. I love blonding and adding dimensions with Balayage and highlights. I am a master level extension expert. I can help you create volume, length or add color without the use of chemicals. I look forward to helping you create the best look for you!
