COVID SAFETY

Steps we have taken to protect our Customers and Staff

  • *Disinfectant fogging of the entire salon to kill germs, allergens, fungi, and virus causing
    bacteria. (including coronavirus)
  • *Antimicrobial fog coating of the entire salon to kill and prevent future growth of germs,
allergens, fungi and virus causing. Bacteria for up to 90 days
  • *combination of these treatments on a regular schedule every three months
  • we have hired a full time employee dedicated to continuous disinfecting stations, shampoo
bowls, bathrooms, door handles etc throughout the day.
  • Sneeze guards at the desk
  • Magazines removed
  • Hand sanitizer readily available
  • Reduced our capacity to a lower number than the guidelines placed on us by Johnson County
    and the State of Kansas
  • Created more payment options to reduce the use of the credit card machine
  • Staff’s temperature will be taken every day prior to entering the salon
  • Detailed contact information and knowledge of who is in the salon at one time for contact tracing
  • *Health and travel restriction guidelines that must be followed prior to entering the salon
  • Working stations are naturally 7ft apart. With our reduced/split schedule it creates 14ft between
    working stations
  • Drinks will still be provided from behind the desk to minimize hand contact on the refrigerator
Stylists AND Customers are REQUIRED to wear masks. Services not provided if a mask is not
    worn.
  • We will have a variety of ear loop masks to purchase if you don’t have one when you arrive
  • Customers will remain in their car until their stylist is ready for them. (detailed instructions will be
    in the next email)
  • Paper towel dispenser at the front door for door handle protection
  • We are an industry that has always been regulated by health and sanitation laws. We have
functioned our entire careers with health and sanitation guidelines. This is nothing new to us. It’s
    simply elevated.

Most of the steps above, we had already put into effect before the salon was closed.
